Z’s Cakemail is owned and operated by Z’s Shakes & Cakes. By accessing, browsing or using this website, you agree to the conditions and terms stated.
Z’s Cakemail may amend these conditions and terms from time to time and any amendment will become effective immediately.
Cancellations and Refunds
For orders that have not yet been delivered:
We accept cancellations and will provide a full refund if orders are canceled 48+ hours prior to the specified delivery date, and if the chefs have not started preparing the order. Refunds will be issued as store credit. If an order is requested to be canceled within 48 hours, a $25 administration fee is applied. The customer will receive the full refund less the fee as store credit. Orders cannot be canceled on the day of delivery.
For orders already delivered:
If in any case the customer is not satisfied with the product they receive, the customer must email us at email@example.com within 3 days of the order delivery date. We will assess your claim and determine if we can offer a refund based on the situation. If your order is eligible for a refund as per the above conditions, we will refund the full amount as store credit on our website. Please note we do not offer cash refunds under any circumstances.
We deliver within a 15-mile radius of the Northwest Indiana and selected surrounding areas. Contact us for Chicagoland deliveries. Delivery takes place between 9am to 5pm on the day selected. Most deliveries are done by 3pm. We are unable to specify an exact time for delivery. The $10 delivery fee is payable in addition to the cost of your order and will be charged at check-out.
While every effort is made to adhere to the above delivery schedule, we use external couriers for all our deliveries, and occasionally situations arise which are out of our control resulting in slight delays in the above time frames. We cannot accept responsibility for these unfortunate events, but assure you that every effort is made to ensure your goods arrive on time.
If there is no one to accept a delivery at the specified address and time, the order may be left at the door (if it is safe to do so) and the customer will be contacted to attend to it ASAP. Please note we will not be responsible for “melted” or “invested” product as it is the customer’s responsibility to attend to the cake when they are contacted. If there is nowhere safe to leave the cake or the driver cannot access a building, the number registered with the order will be contacted. If the customer cannot be contacted, the cake will be returned to Z’s Cakemail and a re-delivery fee will apply.
Should the delivery address supplied by the customer be incorrect or insufficient details (including contact details) are provided, Z’s Cakemail cannot accept any responsibility. It is the obligation of the customer to supply accurate details at the time of order.
If we are supplied with an incorrect address or the customer wishes to change the address on the day of delivery, the cake will be re-directed back to Z’s Cakemail and a re-delivery fee will apply.
If in any case, the customer does not want a re-delivery, the customer will receive a partial refund (50%) of the cost of the cake and any add-ons purchased as a store credit, but not the delivery fee or credit card/PayPal surcharge. We do not offer cash refunds under any circumstances.
All our products may contain allergens, such as nuts and eggs.
None of our products are vegan, kosher, or gluten free.

We reserve the right to substitute products/decorations on our cakes subject to availability.
